Product Overview
The Shimano IX is a lightweight, rear-drag spinning reel packed with many features to allow anglers to cast with ease and retrieve with conviction. The IX is a great option for first-time spinning reel owners or those who favor more traditional features like Shimano’s QuickFire II system. This traditional feature assists in the handling of the line and enables increased speed and control. The IX also incorporates a rear drag, a great feature that allows anglers to make drag adjustments while fighting a fish without needing to reach over the top of the spool.
