Product Overview
Counter Assault's 10.2 oz. bear spray is the long-range can in the lineup. You get 44 feet of spray distance and about 10 seconds of spray time, delivered as a high-volume, atomized cloud of pepper spray at 2% capsaicin and related capsaicinoids (the legal maximum). It is made to deter grizzly, brown, black and polar bears, plus mountain lions and coyotes.
- 44-foot range, 10-second spray time: more reach and more time to put a barrier between you and a charging animal.
- Maximum-strength formula: 2% capsaicin and related capsaicinoids.
- EPA-registered: Counter Assault was the first EPA-registered bear deterrent.
- Made in Montana: developed by a grizzly-encounter survivor together with the University of Montana.

Safety
Keep out of reach of children. Bear spray can cause serious eye injury at close range and is strongly irritating to the eyes, nose and skin. The canister is extremely flammable and under pressure: keep it away from heat and flame, and don't store it above 130°F. It is a deterrent, not a guarantee. Don't seek out bears, and read the full can label before heading into bear country.
