Product Overview

Hodgdon High Gun is a flattened, spherical shotshell powder designed for 12-gauge light-target, handicap, and super handicap loads. It is built for the shooter working toward consistent results at the clay range, load after load.

High Gun’s powder geometry is designed to meter consistently and provide excellent ignition. Its clean-burning performance helps support uniform patterns clay after clay, with the practical, repeatable handling handloaders look for at the loading bench.

For shooters seeking a handloaded counterpart to a familiar factory option, Hodgdon High Gun closely duplicates Remington Nitro 27 factory loads. That makes it a focused choice for the stated 12-gauge target-load applications rather than a powder trying to cover every job on the bench.

Hodgdon High Gun is made in the USA and is available in 1-pound and 8-pound canisters. Use published Hodgdon reloading data and follow all label warnings when assembling loads.
