Berger 30 cal 230 gr Hybrid Target. Berger’s Long Range Hybrid Target Bullets were designed with competitive PRS shooters and long range accuracy enthusiasts in mind. These bullets utilize Berger’s advanced and proprietary manufacturing processes – the Meplat Reduction Technology (MRT) System. The MRT system places controlled pressure along the projectile’s tip, creating a consistent Bullet profile with a high Ballistics Coefficient (BC) which reduces wind drift and boosts accuracy at all ranges. Accuracy is further enhanced thanks to a Hybrid Ogive which blends the best aspects of tangent and secant nose shapes into one ogive. Near the bearing surface, the shape starts off as a tangent, which makes it easy to tune, then transitions to a secant ogive, which results in a flatter trajectory and less wind drift.
